  • Call for Papers -- Application of Big Data in Optimizing Algorithms for Social Network

    2024-11-26

Social media network is a marketing technique that enables advertisers to reach specific groups of users on social media platforms. This is achieved by using various data points to create an ideal customer profile and then displaying ads to users who match that profile. The rise of big data is driven by the increasing use of technology and the proliferation of data sources such as social media, the Internet of Things (IoT), and sensor networks. By analysing big data, organizations can obtain valuable insights into customer behaviour, market trends, operational efficiency, and more. This information can be used to make better decisions, improve processes, and develop new products and services. Big data is being used in various industries, such as the government sector, education, healthcare, media and entertainment, weather forecasting, transportation, banking, and more. Big data is a game-changer in social network ad targeting, enabling more precise audience identification, personalized ad experiences, and continuous optimization. Nevertheless, it is vital to use this technology ethically and responsibly, respecting user privacy and avoiding discriminatory services.

  • Call for Papers -- Parallel and Distributed Computing Architectures for Large Scale Natural Language Processing Tasks

    2024-08-23

The scalability of the distributed language processing design offered in this special issue leverages the storm to integrate the NLP modules into a processing cascade that performs the linguistic assessment of the materials. Designing systems that can execute distributed programmes in parallel across massive machine clusters is necessary for scalability. By combining several NLP modules into a single processing chain with the design described here, it is feasible to install the language-processing components concurrently on a cluster of computers in a distributed environment. Other than being able to make and consume language annotations in a predetermined format, the NLP modules are not restricted in any way.
